EDION Group is implementing various measures to create stores that are environmentally friendly and provide a convenient shopping experience for customers.

Eco-friendly store
As part of our efforts to prevent environmental pollution and global warming, we have installed solar power generation systems in many of our stores. We are also introducing equipment and taking other steps to help create an environmentally harmonious society, such as a Building Energy Management System (BEMS) to control the energy consumption of electric and gas air conditioning, and promoting simplified packaging and eco-friendly plastic bags to reduce waste and recycle.

多様なお客様に楽しんでご利用いただけるよう、そしてご年配の方や体の不自由なお客様にも配慮ができる店舗づくりを目指し、エディオン店舗では、お客様に快適に店舗をご利用いただくための店舗設備として「段差のない出入口」「車いす対応駐車場」「多目的トイレ」などの様々な設備を導入しています。また、ご来店いただいた外国のお客様にも安心してお買い物をお楽しみいただけるよう、ネイティブレベルの会話ができるスタッフの常駐や各種通訳サービスなどの取り組みを行っています。

EDION Group has set a goal of "reducing the total Scope 1 and Scope 2 CO2 emissions of our corporate group by 46% compared to fiscal 2013 by fiscal 2030." To achieve this goal, we believe it is important to continue researching energy-saving efficiency in stores and other facilities, while strengthening our environmentally friendly and efficient store structure.
