"The birth and growth of the EDION Group"

The Company was established in March 2002 as a holding company of DEODEO Corporation which has grounds in the Chugoku, Shikoku and Kyushu regions, and EIDEN Co., Ltd. which has grounds in the Chubu region.

After that, MIDORI DENKA Co.,Ltd. with the Kinki region as the ground, Ishimaru Denki Co., Ltd. with the Kanto region as the ground, SANKYU Co., Ltd. with the Hokkaido / Hokuriku region as the ground (store brand "Hyakuman Volt") Has been added.

The group was reorganized in February 2009, and the central and Kanto regions were consolidated into EIDEN Co., Ltd. to build an integrated management system. In October 2009, DEODEO Corporation and MIDORI DENKA Co.,Ltd. merged. The company name has been changed to EDION WEST Corporation (hereinafter "EDION WEST") and EIDEN Co., Ltd. to EDION EAST Corporation (hereinafter "EDION EAST").

In October 2010, the Company merged with EDION WEST and EDION EAST and merged as EDION Corporation. As a result, EDION Corporation, which operates stores for Ishimaru, EIDEN, Midori, and DEODEO (mainly sell home appliances), SANKYU Co., Ltd., which operates Hyakuman Volt, EDION COMMUNICATIONS Co., Ltd., a mobile phone sales business, and EDION HOUSE SYSTEM Corporation, a solar power systems business, make up this group.
