Announcement of the “EDION Group Cleanup Activities”

EDION Group will implement the “All Stores Clean Activity” this year as part of its social contribution activities. This activity cleans public spaces such as roads and parks around the head office and stores.

Throughout the year, we actively engage in various environmental conservation activities and community contribution activities.

Overview of the EDION Group “Clean-up Activities for All Stores”

（1）参加者 Approximately 10,000
EDION Corporation and EDION Corporation subsidiary of the headquarters office, out of all the employees of directly operated stores, will be those who can participate in the implementation date and time.
(2) Scheduled implementation date We carry out on Wednesday, October 22, 2014.
(The schedule may be changed depending on the situation such as rainy weather or shop holidays.)
EDION Headquarters (Osaka City) will be held in conjunction with participation in the "Osaka Marathon" Clean UP "Strategy (*)". The SANKYU Co., Ltd. and Hyakuman Volt stores were cleaned on Friday, October 10.
(3) Implementation details Public spaces such as roads, gutters, plants, parks, etc. will be cleaned before business hours.

"Osaka Marathon" Clean UP "Strategy" Overview

  • (1) Implementation date: October 18 (Sat)-October 24 (Fri), 2014
  • (2) Participants: Any group, group or individual can participate
  • (3) Implementation location: All over Osaka City
    At the time of application, each participant selects a cleaning place from public spaces such as roads (sidewalks), parks, station squares, etc. in the city, sets the implementation date and time from the 7 days of the holding period, and performs cleaning activities .

The "Osaka Marathon" Clean UP "Strategy" is an initiative organized by the city of Osaka to clean up public spaces one week before the Osaka Marathon, in which citizens, businesses and governments work together to create a beautiful city. .
