Initiatives to maintain and improve health

EDION is taking various measures to maintain and improve the health of its employees.

Health issuesMain initiatives
Early detection and treatment of disease

Regular health check

For employees enrolled in social insurance, we conduct regular health checkups every year not only for the early detection and treatment of illness, but also to understand their own health condition and improve any problems. We inform employees of the importance of health checkups through internal notices and other means, and strive to encourage them to take the checkups. (Health checkup attendance rate for fiscal 2024: 98.5%)
After checking the medical examination status, the Human Resources Department will notify those at high risk of lifestyle-related diseases and other illnesses based on the data from the medical examination institution. The target person will then report the status of re-examinations and other measures to the public health nurse and receive insurance guidance. (FY2024 detailed examination attendance rate: 74.2%)
We have also introduced a health management system that allows employees to manage their own health, including the ability to track health checkup results over time and access public health nurses via email, helping employees manage and maintain their health on a daily basis.
In addition, we provide subsidies for cancer screenings (colon cancer, breast cancer, cervical cancer, prostate cancer) and eye fundus examinations, as well as comprehensive medical checkups, for employees aged 35 and over. Furthermore, we also provide subsidies for comprehensive medical checkups for dependent spouses (up to a maximum of 20,000 yen per person per year).
