We are pleased to announce that Atsushi Sawayanagi will be appointed as the new director of the EDION Women's Track and Field Club as of today.

Full name Atsushi Sawazaki
Birthday July 26, 1976
Birthplace Nagano Prefecture
Career Entered Hakone Ekiden while attending Toyo University. After graduation, he joined the business team and participated in New Year Ekiden and many marathon events. After retiring from active duty, joined Daihatsu Motor Co., Ltd. in May 2006, and became a coach of the track and field department of the company.

It is a great honor for me to be the director of the historic Women's Track and Field Club, and I feel that I am tightened. First of all, I would like to lay the foundation for stable participation in the All-Japan Business Group Women's Ekiden, and from there I would like to aim to develop athletes who are world-class in the Ekiden.
In addition, I would like to make a team where athletes can live a lively and lively competitive life, strive to develop as members of society through athletics, and share joy with those who support them. Thank you for your warm support.
