The Company will begin accepting the WiMAX 2+ Plan, an ultra-high-speed mobile communication service EDION Net that can use WiMAX 2+ communications, on Thursday, October 31, 2013.

The “WiMAX 2+ Plan” is an ultra-high-speed mobile communication service provided by UQ Communications to provide customers with WiMAX 2+ lines, etc. provided as MVNO (*) by customers.

The "WiMAX 2+ Plan" provides data communication using WiMAX communication or LTE communication, in addition to WiMAX 2+ communication that achieves a maximum downlink speed of 110Mbps.

WiMAX 2+ communication coverage will start in some areas in Tokyo, and will be expanded to Tokyo Meihan by the end of FY2013 and nationwide by the end of FY2014.
