For the full fiscal year 2025, net Net sales reached 793.746 billion yen, a 103.3% increase compared to the previous year, marking the fourth consecutive year of sales growth. Existing store Net sales also performed well, at 103.3% year-on-year. In terms of profit, gross profit increased along with the increase in sales. As a result, operating profit was 25.782 billion yen (110.2% year-on-year), Ordinary income was 26.64 billion yen (109.4% year-on-year), Profit attributable to owners of parent was 15.453 billion yen (109.5% year-on-year), resulting in increased sales and profits.
Due to rising temperatures following record-breaking heat, seasonal products such as air conditioners performed well throughout the year. In addition, increased PC sales due to replacement demand ahead of the end of Windows 10 support, sales of home game consoles with new hardware and powerful software releases, and sales of mobile phones with new high-performance models all contributed significantly to the increase in revenue. Television sales, which had been on a downward trend, also began to recover due to the impact of sporting events and other factors.
The gross profit margin was 28.68%, a decrease of 0.34 percentage points from the previous year, due to factors such as a higher sales ratio of products with relatively low gross profit margins, such as personal computers and game consoles (impact of the gross profit mix). On the other hand, personnel costs increased due to base salary increases and the addition of consolidated subsidiaries, and selling, general and administrative expenses increased by 2.36 billion yen compared to the previous year. However, the selling, general and administrative expense ratio improved by 0.6 percentage points to 25.4% due to the increase in Net sales. As a result, operating profit increased significantly by 110.2% compared to the previous year.
For the full fiscal year 2026, we project consolidated Net sales 816 billion yen (102.8% year-on-year), operating profit of 27 billion yen (104.7% year-on-year), Ordinary income 27 billion yen (101.3% year-on-year), and Profit attributable to owners of parent 15.7 billion yen (101.6% year-on-year), indicating continued growth in both revenue and profit.
We will promote digital transformation (DX) by introducing tablet-based POS systems and actively utilizing AI and robots to reduce in-store workloads, strengthen customer interaction, and improve operational efficiency in the business environment. Furthermore, we will strengthen our business foundation for sustainable growth by enhancing the development of our private brand "e angle" products, expanding our renovation (ELS) business, and developing new service menus, including exterior wall cleaning.
In April 2026, we plan to relocate and rebuild three stores: "EDION Okayama MAIN STORE (Okayama Prefecture)," "EDION Aeon Mall Kobe Kita Store (Hyogo Prefecture)," and "EDION Marugame Store (Kagawa Prefecture)." In total, we plan to open, relocate, and rebuild nine stores during fiscal year 2026.

In November 2025, at the 45th All Japan Corporate Women's Ekiden Championship, held in Miyagi Prefecture, which determines the best women's ekiden team in Japan, the team achieved its long-awaited first victory since its founding in 1989.
Furthermore, at the 45th Osaka International Women's Marathon held in January, Mikuni Yada set a new Japanese record for a debut marathon with a time of 2 hours, 19 minutes, and 57 seconds (6th fastest time in Japanese history), and finished in 4th place, the top Japanese finisher. Yada has been selected to represent Japan in the marathon at the 20th Asian Games to be held in Aichi Prefecture in September.
